When should I use a horizontal bar chart instead of a vertical one?
Horizontal bar charts are easier to read when you have long category names, or when you're showing a ranked list (top 10, leaderboard, etc.). Vertical column charts work better for time series data where the x-axis represents dates or periods.
What if I need to compare more than one series per category?
